Connected TV World Summit, which takes place in London on March 18 and 19, 2020, will include a segment dedicated to video piracy at 2pm to 3:30pm on Wednesday March 18th.
This segment will conclude with a moderated panel discussion that includes Mr. Israel Esteban, Executive Director of Technology for beIN Media. The beIN Media Group has been a victim of one of the world’s most costly video piracy operations.
Steven Hawley of Piracy Monitor will run the session, which opens with a brief introduction to video piracy and the size and scope of the problem. This is followed by presentations by Nagra and Viaccess-Orca, and then close with the panel session.
Mr. Hawley is also a judge for the Videonet Connected TV Awards, which are presented at this same conference.
