Today Online of Singapore reported on October 30 that the head of a company that sold Android TV boxes was fined and sentenced to a three month jail term. It was Singapore’s first court case against pirates selling illicit streaming devices. One of this pirate’s resellers was also charged. The case was initiated by AVIA and a consultant, representing two operators and several media companies that serve the Singapore market.
