Variety reports that the producers of Hulu and BBC’s “Normal People” TV series asked the adult video site Pornhub to take down a compilation of sex scenes from the series appeared there. Pornhub complied, but the scenes are still running on pirate Web sites.

Why it matters
While sex-related Web sites have a varied reputation, Pornhub considers itself to be above that fray, and complies with take-down requests. This incident also highlights the lack of available legal remedies against (actual) pirates.
