The League of Ireland’s LOITV streaming platform made about €1million in 2025, more than double its revenue from its 2021 inaugural year.
According to League director Mark Scanlon, revenue could have been double that amount if it weren’t for piracy, who calls for greater enforcement against the use of illicit streaming devices which are referred to as ‘dodgy boxes’ in the British Isles.
A report in The Irish Mirror went on to list how the Club divides revenue from its streaming service.
